Pride fest in Greenville or NOT!
Should Bond County allow Public property to be used to promote homosexuality? I say no! absolutely not. And since that issue is still in question as of the board meeting on the 19th of Aug 2025 https://wgel.com/news/2025/08/pridefest-brought-up-again-at- county-board-meeting/ Maybe we should really examine it.
a quick search Of WGEL website produces the following for bond county https://wgel.com/page/3/?s=child+abuse That's a lot of sex crimes for this small area, makes you wonder Why?
Lets admit it, Pride fest promotes homosexuality in all it's various forms, no matter if that is the true intention or not, it is the eventual outcome. And I do not believe it is in the County's, or the peoples best interest to set a precedent for this type of public behavior.
"Homosexuals cannot reproduce naturally, they must recruit", And I've never seen anything that would refute that concept. To that end why would the county even consider supporting this pride insanity.
Please don't feed the Moderators, people food makes them cranky and hard to manage!

so much sniveling, about not being accepted by the baddies. And they apparently don't like Quote:Timmerman or Rehkemper. They both voted 'no' to allowing them to use the courthouse lawn. And/or commented about pdffiles.

No specific reason was given other than Quote:due to the circumstances surrounding threats made toward Pride fest and Bond County Pride, we have made the difficult decision to postpone Bond County Pride fest.
I presume this whole situation was compounded by the horrid assassination this past week, and it's association with LGBT+ individuals and associated community.
I would like to know some specifics about these threats, the the Who, What, When, Where, and Why? But I suppose I will have to wait for the police report, and or prosecution if any.
