From the very first when I saw that the county has raised their estimation of the cash value of my land by some 70%, I've been in a bit of a rile.
Now I am certain there's an error, however I am the one that has to correct it, or at least convince the County that its in error, though I am certain that I can do that, I wonder about all of the other thousands of citizens in the county.
I also wonder what effect this class action lawsuit I hear about would have in the long term, I have not finished reviewing the laws and rules and such, but what I am seeing so far doesn't strike me as having much concern for the citizens.

Since the initial notice was received, the County has issued a revised Assessment which removed the 1st error. However I cannot comprehend how 4+or- largely wooded acres is viewed by the County as worth $100,000 +, even with 2 watershed gully's and a single 40+ year old shed on it.
Of course its a very nice shed for its age, even if it is made from recycled material.
I need to check out the land prices on bond lake.
