I had the blog active for a short while but it has a RSS link that's bad or rather it's not supposed to be because I turned RSS Syndication and PDF generation off through the admin panel. It has been brought to the attention of the development team. And I will re-enable it as soon as they get back too me with a solution.
It appears to be the result of the path info theme I selected (path info provides a easier to read url which is more search engine and user friendly).

I took an opportunity to download the most recent recent upgrade script and run it, hoping to resolve the blog issue; No Joy looks like its hurry up and wait. It did however resolve the other issues I've reported.
